Continuing Concerns at MATC's Student Housing Westown Green

At the February MATC Board Meeting, three additional students shared their concerns over safety and other issues at MATC's student Housing Westown Green. Students cannot be expected to succeed when they are living in conditions like these. Even more concerning is that these problems are being reported from MATC's student housing--a location that should be a safe space for students.

Students seeking help from the FAST Fund often share concerning experiences, and the FAST Fund provides an open ear, support in the moment, and access to resources. Students are also given options for action that strengthen self-advocacy and, hopefully, movement toward resolution.
