The End of Gerrymandering in Wisconsin

Gerrymandering in Wisconsin has officially come to an end. On Monday, February 19, Tony Evers signed into law the redistricting maps he proposed and that were approved by both the Wisconsin State Legislature and Assembly. Local 212 has long supported fair maps in Wisconsin and now it appears that those maps have finally been signed into law. While some claim the maps can still be improved, we view this as a win in a state that has spent over 20 years not being fairly represented, and are looking forward to the future!
