The Passing of a Friend
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that our fellow retiree, Gloria Gilmer, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Gloria was a Math instructor at MATC for 14 years. Below is an email from her daughter, Jill, that includes her arrangements and a request for scholarship donations in lieu of flowers.

To honor Gloria Gilmer in a way we believe she would love, please consider making a contribution to a scholarship endowment fund established in her name at her alma mater, Morgan State University. This scholarship is designed to encourage students of color to pursue careers in math, science, engineering, and technology. You can make checks payable to Morgan State University Foundation and give them to Jay or me at one of the services.
