Lead Faculty are the Backbone of Academics

On September 26, Local 212 Executive VP Dwayne Schlund and member Jay Kindschi, addressed the MATC Board regarding the importance of lead faculty at MATC and the use of ZANCIL assignments. ZANCIL assignments are NOT included in the school's yearly budget and many tasks, including lead faculty assignments, are processed as ZANCIL's. At the beginning of this semester, many cuts were made to ZANCIL load after the semester began. Local 212 was able to push back these cuts by communicating with administration, but we are seeking a permanent solution to this ongoing issue. Watch Dwayne's comments to the board HERE
