Free Tax Assistance for Students

The MATC Accounting program is once again participating in the federal Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, offering free tax preparation for students with an annual income of less than $70,000.

MATC accounting students, under professional guidance, will provide in-person assistance at the Oak Creek Campus and online services for added convenience. The program also offers support in multiple languages, including Spanish and Hmong. And big thanks to our Accounting Program colleagues—many of whom are Local 212 members—for their hard work during tax season on this project that helps students, MATC, and the community.
