Local 212 is proud to announce that our very own Communications Director, Susan Nusser, had an article published in the New York Times on February 26th! The heart felt article sheds light on the emotional state of family who’s loved ones face the pandemic from a solitary room within a nursing home.

Lisa Conley, Local 212 President, shared- “We are immensely proud that Susan’s talent and perspective, long valued within our organization, has received well deserved external recognition through publication in the New York Times. Her dedication to her craft and to telling the ‘untold story’ is surpassed only by her dedication to her MATC students, and of course, her family. Please join me in congratulating Susan on a job well done!” -
