On September 13, 2023, Wisconsin State Senator Chris Larson and State Representative Francesca Hong introduced the Nurse Staffing and Patient Protection Act (more details can be found HERE). The act is designed to end the current healthcare workplace climate in Wisconsin, which leaves nurses underworked and overstaffed.
