AFT Votes Bus Tour

[The AFT Votes team with 212 representatives and local community leaders in Milwaukee]

The AFT Votes Bus Tour made successful stops in Milwaukee on October 4th and Kenosha on October 5th, energizing union members and community supporters. AFT members, like the ones in Local 212, showed they are “all in” this election season, rallying around candidates who advocate for economic and educational opportunities for all, reducing costs, protecting broad-based freedoms—including a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions—and ensuring a stronger voice for workers in both the workplace and democracy.

With a packed schedule of community forums, roundtables, and door-knocking, the AFT and its 600,000 members in battleground states are making sure that fairness and opportunity are at the heart of this election. The Wisconsin stops were just one part of a broader effort to connect with voters and make sure their voices are heard, keeping the focus on what matters—economic opportunity, personal freedoms, and a stronger voice at work and in our democracy.
