MATC District Board Meeting Recap

Local 212 leaders and members offering comments at the start of the May 23 MATC District Board meeting included: Local 212 President, Lisa Conley, Local 212 Vice-President of Part-time Faculty, Luz Sosa, and full-time accounting faculty colleague, Phil Blechacz.

There are many unacceptable things happening at the college including breaches in shared governance, people being paid unfairly and inaccurately, as well as lack of fair progression through college pay structures that MUST be corrected. With Local 212's continued advocacy, we hope we can work towards putting some of these issues behind us. Together we fight for you, our students, and a brighter future for MATC!
