Get Out the Vote Event With AFT President Randi Weingarten Saturday, October 22
The clock is ticking and your help is needed to turn out the vote on November 8th! Join AFT President Randi Weingarten, Local 212 President Lisa Conley, along with other Wisconsin AFL-CIO affiliate leaders and members for a “Get Out the Union Vote Day of Action” this coming Saturday, October 22nd, from 8:30 AM - 2 PM.
The day will start at 8:30 AM with a continental breakfast and program, after which we will head out in teams to knock on labor members' doors or call them via the Labor Federation Phone Bank. Can’t stay the whole time? Give what you can to come out and support union endorsed candidates!

We have a chance to support and elect pro-union and pro-public education champions, and stop their opponents from "blowing things up" (like social security and our pension system), voting down efforts to make college more affordable, and diminishing our voice at work.
