Danica Olson is an Ace!
Danica Olson has been a full-time accounting instructor since 2014 and is currently Local 212's Vice President for Finance, Audit and Budget. For the last six years, Danica has been a vital part of providing free tax assistance through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA). The no-cost program prepares tax forms for community residents and serves as an internship for accounting students during which they earn three credits.
When not working, Danica is an avid tennis player! She's a member of the Greater Milwaukee League (GML) of the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Her team - named "Team Sangria" - recently won their regular season with a record of 8-0, as well as first place - undefeated in all matches - at the State Championships held in Kohler, WI. The next stop is competing for the Midwestern title in Fort Wayne, Indiana later this month.
Danica has been playing with her current teammates for ten years but was a prep star gymnast not so many years ago. She spends her days at home with her husband Andy, and her biggest feline fans, "Ryelee" and "Scotch."
All the best to you Danica as you and your friends compete in Fort Wayne, IN. Thanks so much for all you do for MATC, our students, and Local 212!
