Are you or a family member struggling to make your monthly student loan payments? Confused by all of the Student Loan Repayments Plans out there? Been told, disqualified, or didn’t think you qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Programs?

Thanks, in part, to the advocacy of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), you may now qualify for relief under new rules put in place by the Department of Education.

Local 212 and the AFT are proud to host two upcoming Student Debt Clinics - one each in March and April - where you can learn and ask questions about new rules for Income-Driven Repayment Plans and Public Service Loan Forgiveness Programs, as well as free assistance provided to Local 212 and other AFT members through your union membership.

You must pre-register here to attend one of three clinics on March 7, March 14, and April 25 at 5:30 PM. Registration is capped at 50 on a first-come, first-served basis.
