Richard Boldt who taught machine shop at MATC for thirty years passed away on July 20, 2021. He was seventy-one years old.

“I worked with Richard at MATC in our Adult High School program,” recalled Local 212’s Executive Vice President Kevin Mulvenna. “His warm demeanor made him so likable as a person. Even the hardest of students let their guard down and grew close to Mr. Boldt. Richard was a strong union member and a valued colleague to many of us. He was - simply put - a great person. MATC and Local 212 sends its deepest sympathies and warmest wishes to all his family and friends. The world was a better place because of Richard Boldt.”
