Who we are.
We are Local 212 retirees and soon-to-be retirees who wish to preserve and pass on our rich union history. We strive to help keep MATC a highly respected institution that effectively meets student and community needs.
What we do.
- Work with Local 212 on union issues that affect retirees, such as health insurance.
- Monitor public policy and legislation related to Social Security, Medicare, and pensions.
- Promote friendships and social connections.
- Provide opportunities for social activism and community service.
We meet four times a year on the third Friday morning of October, January, April and July.
Also we meet four times a year for breakfast at various restaurants in the Milwaukee area.
Joining is easy and free. No membership dues required.
